Oprah just made her ‘big announcement’ that the entire world already knew about.  She is pulling the plug in her talk show.  She was calm at first, then choked up when breaking the news to her audience.

Ugh.  Give me a break.  Why is everyone making a big deal about this?  Oprah isn’t going anywhere.  The only thing that Oprah is going to do is get more domination and more power by having her own cable network and well, being bigger than she already is.  Sure she won’t be on ABC anymore.  But who gives a rip?  Honestly?  Her fans will watch her no matter what network she’s on.  The woman is doind all of this for more attention, power, control, etc.  Why do there need to be any tears shed?

Miley Cyrus’ tour bus was involved in a deadly crash in Dinwiddie Virginia. on interstate 85 at mile marker 55.  The bus flipped and one person was killed.  There were 10 people on board the bus, Miley was NOT one of them.

Our hearts go out to the family of the person killed and to everyone else involved in the accident.  We will bring the latest as the  story develops here on Backseat Cuddler.

UPDATE: The bus driver is the person that was killed.  They are not sure if they died before or after the accident happened.  This THE BUS that Miley is usually traveling on.  I am so glad she wasn’t on it this time! She was in another vehicle in a four part caravan on this trip.

Country star Taylor Swift may not have any idea about love but she sure knows how to write songs about it. Now she’ll be using her talent to write greeting cards as well.

She says, “My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could. I feel the same way about greeting cards.

“I’ve always been fascinated by feelings and how we express them to each other. Getting to write and design these cards is a wonderful experience.”

Taylor’s new line of greeting cards should be available next year through American Greetings.  The line will include cards, stationary, gift packaging and photo personalized products.

I wonder if any of the cards will say “You’re the only werewolf for me“?

If you’ve been crying into your pillow over the rumors Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth were an item, you can relax. The sexy True Blood actor says he’s not dating Kate, or anyone else for that matter.

“I’m not dating anyone, those are just rumors,” he laughed. When asked if there were any special women in his life, the hunky actor replied “my mom and my sister.”

For those of you that can’t wait until season three of True Blood, Alexander gave a few teases regarding his character, Eric Northman.

“There’s a lot of nudity,” he said. “As far as Eric goes, there’s going to be a lot violence and a lot of sex — with women and men! So it should be interesting.”

Shakira was in rehearsal for the recording of ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ in New York City on Wednesday (November 18).  I am guessing this was an early morning rehearsal since Shakira is looking au naturale. Comedian and actor Robin Williams has found love again after splitting with Marsha Garces Williams in March 2008.

Robin reportedly met graphic designer Susan Schneider shortly before his heart surgery back in March, and she took time to help care for him following his operation.

“Robin truly believes it’s no coincidence that Susan came into his life right before his heart operation. He told a pal, ‘She saved me - she helped me heal.’”

Congratulations to Robin for finding love again following his divorce from Marsha.  They had been married for nineteen years.
