Larry Birkhead arrived earlier this afternoon in Louisville, KY with baby daughter Dannielynn.

Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts has been along for the ride and reports the journey has been an emotional one. After putting the baby in the SUV at the airport, Birkhead “was momentarily overcome with emotion,” in front of the waiting media. He then had to compose himself before answering questions.

Ironically father and daughter will attend The Kentucky Derby this Saturday, which is reportedly where Birkhead first met Anna Nicole Smith in 2004.
