Is there really anyone out there who is not familiar with the new cutesy animated BP commercial with the catchy little “Say Hey” tune? After having it stuck in my head for the better part of the evening I started wondering where the tune came from so I had to do some investigating. (Okay, I realize I’m sounding a little OCD).

So what did I discover? I found out that the song is a variant of “LA” performed by the band Message of the Blues. You can check it out on their Myspace page by clicking here.

I also stumbled across this video of “outtakes” (heehee) and since I think it’s cute and funny, and I have adopted the song as my latest theme song, and Bobby Ray and Roxxxy aren’t around to veto it, (not that I ever listen anyway) I’m posting it and asking for forgiveness later.
