Criss Angel is Married? Excuse Me?
Illusionist Criss Angel, recently linked romantically to Cameron Diaz, Minnie Driver and Paris Hilton, is being divorced by his wife of FIVE YEARS. Angel, who’s real name is Christopher Sarantakos and wife Joanne, dated for 10 years prior to their marriage. The magician reportedly kept the marriage a secret to boost his image to women.
Angel dedicated his most recent illusion, an escape from a cement box suspended over Times Square, to Diaz, saying “This is dedicated to my new girl. You know who you are. I’ll be thinking of you.” After the stunt, Angel turned to the crowd and said, “I’d like to dedicate this escape to my girl ‘Trouble,’ a.k.a. Cameron. I love you baby. Have a safe trip to Europe for your Shrek tour.”
Joanne Sarantakos’ attorney plans to subpoena Diaz in the divorce case.
