Ryan Seacrest Leaves Himself Wide Open for Gay Rumors
There has always been speculation about Ryan Seacrest’s sexual orientation and his comments about the Longoria-Parker wedding this past weekend are not helping to squelch those rumors.
On his radio show this morning, Seacrest gushed about the couple’s first dance:
“I am crying,” he confessed. The bride and groom “were just staring at each other,” Seacrest said. “Then Tony dipped Eva right then and there, pulled her back up and gave her a kiss.”
That’s when Seacrest, standing with Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Jessica Alba, lost it. “They are smiling and I am a disaster,” he said.
And at a dinner the week prior to the wedding, he got positively giddy about a French painter Parker hired to do a portrait of Longoria at the party:
“He did it in like two minutes and it was perfect,” Seacrest said. Against a black canvas, “he did this Cirque du Soleil type dance with two white paint brushes,” Seacrest explained. “He starts to paint and paint and what you see is Tony playing basketball and everyone is thinking: OK that is kind of cool. Then he runs back up to the canvas and messes it up like he screwed up. … Then he flips the painting over and make two dots with his brush, left and right, and it is Eva Longoria in every detail.”
Spoiler alert for Ryan’s mother: You may be seeing something similar for your birthday. “It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen,” says Seacrest. “I want to do it for my mom.”
Okay, I realize I am generalizing with a Will and Grace broad brush stroke about the stereotypical gay man, and that there are many sensitive, metrosexual men out there who love their mommas, but I’m just sayin’…
