Britney at the VMA’s
You all saw it. Admit it. We all watched, hoping for a return to her former glory. What we got instead was a terrified girl who looked like it was her first performance at her dance recital. Her lip synching was off and she almost stumbled, rather than danced her way thru her number. She was afraid to commit to her performance and it looked no different than the rehersal shots that were shown on MTV’s website.
The crowd shots said it all with Diddy & 50 cent looking confused by the sad spectacle. Where was Criss Angel’s influence in this mess? At least we could’ve had some smoke and mirrors to spice it up.
So what do you think? Is her career dead? Is this another very shrewd marketing scheme to keep the blogs talking about Britney? Is she that brilliant? Is she relegated to taking her clothes off for more publicity? Do you think her heavy partying the previous nights had something to do with this performance? Is she headed to rehab again? I’m so shocked by HOW BAD IT WAS. After the shock I laughed so hard that tears rolled down my face. She’s too hard headed to realize she needs rehearsal and better material.
