Now Wearing Bikinis and girlie clothes: Emma Watson and Oscar De La Hoya!

Life is funny.  And my life, where I combine the good taste of fashion, Flashdance and Sex and the City with the gritty tastes of basketball, boxing and Goodfellas, has seen plenty of funny stuff.  But not like last week.

When Harry Potter first came out about six years ago, I fell in love with that movie. I am not one of those huge, have to buy all the action figures and books fans out there, but I think the Harry Potter movies are right up there in magic and adventure with Lord of the Rings.  One of the stars of Harry Potter, of course, is gorgeous Emma Watson.

To put it mildly, my admiration towards Ms. Watson at the time bordered on the pedophilic.  But I really was not carried away because she was, after all, a kid.  What an outstanding woman she will make, I used to think.  Well, guess what? Now she is a woman!

Emma Watson is 19 years old now and I am allowed legally to like her now.  Some photos of her surfaced on the Internet wearing a bikini.  The photos are said to be fake and I believe them to be.  However, the way she looks in those photos raises more than just the question of how fine her body should be now that she is nineteen and more than just my eyebrows.  They are raising photos all right.

As far as the bikini chosen by whoever it was that was really wearing them, the choice was a deliciously cool two piece in peach with darkened shades that resemble lips all around the pieces. And while the summer is almost gone, you could definitely wear that to impress your loved one in the privacy of your home.  The bikini showed good taste and is sexy without overdoing it. Of course, it helps that Emma Watson’s face was on top of it but you don’t have to have Emma Watson’s face attached to look good on anything as long as it’s done with good taste and in the right manner.

As far as Oscar De La Hoya goes, he was supposedly seen wearing women’s clothes and photos were also published but I, along with the rest of the world, am sure they are fake, specially since De La Hoya’s neck does not show in the photos, a clear sign that his face was added to the photo, which of course, portrays the body of some other guy wearing women’s clothes.  The photos of Oscar supposedly posing as a drag queen demonstrate a person wearing black panties and fish net.  One of the photos has De La Hoya wearing boxing gloves but don’t be fooled, that probably came from another picture of De La Hoya, probably taken after winning a fight or when he posed for a boxing magazine cover.

What’s funny about all that is that just this week right after I returned from Puerto Rico I had a request by my editor at Ringsidereport.com, Geno McGhee, to make an article about boxers who have dressed badly on a fight night and gone on to lose.  As you see, my two worlds cross each other out constantly!!

On a sidenote, I would like to dedicate this article to 11 month old Nicolas Millot, an Uruguayan who needs emergency kidney and urology surgery on September 27 in Miami, Florida, to save his life.  If you want to help, please communicate with his father at eugemillot@hotmail.com.  God bless little Nicolas. My prayers are with him.
