Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are bringing a British drama to the big screen. State of Play will reunite the two co-stars from Fight Club and be helmed by The Last King of Scotland director, Kevin Macdonald.

Norton will play a politician whose meteoric career is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress. Pitt will play the friend and journalist whose loyalties are tested by his own investigation into the girl’s death. The relationship between the two men is strained even further when Pitt’s character gets involved with the politician’s estranged wife.

Filming begins in November. Edward Norton is one of the most under rated actors. He has a great sense of story and picks great scripts to be in.
