Sara Evans’ Divorce Granted
Country crooner and former Dancing With The Stars participant, Sara Evans, 35, has been granted a divorce from her estranged husband, Craig Scheleske, 43. Evans dropped out of DWTS last season when the two began the acrimonious split. The two have decided to put the past behind them. Evans was granted the divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
“The parties have agreed that it is in their best interests and those of their children to amicably resolve all issues in their pending divorce. Each wishes the other well in all future endeavors. Both parties are fully committed to raising their children in a cooperative and positive way,” the papers state.
Evans agreed to pay her ex-husband an alimony sum of $500,000 and he gets the two houses in Oregon that they shared. She gets the house in Tennessee. The couple was married for 13 years with 3 children who can now google the accusations of pornography and multiple affairs that they levelled against each other. Ain’t love grand?
