‘Top Chef’ Hung Speaks About His Win

Seasonn 3 of Top Chef saw many talented chefs pass by but the winner, Hung Huynh, 29, is arguably one of the most talented to have been on the BravoTV show. Talking to People magazine, Hung has some interesting things to say about his competition.
Was anybody misrepresented or portrayed in a better light?
I think maybe CJ (Jacobsen) and Dale (Levitski) because they cruised through the whole way. They seemed like the nice guys, the guys who were always trying to do good for others, (but) I don�t think that was true. They didn�t help me with anything. I don�t think anybody helped me except for Casey (Thompson) at the end.
Ok, no one helped him. Boo Hoo. I recall more than once in the show he said he didn’t need it.�didn’t Casey win most of the challenges? Quick fire ones, at least. She (Casey) probably would’ve won if she held it together at the end. And he didn’t beat Dale�easily. It was much closer than he seems to want to remember. He’s very talented and very crass. I don’t agree because he may look guy but he is not at all so why don’t you leave him alone but when you make fun of him you will not be cool you may do whet your friend but that is not the right thingh to do.
Okay….Fisrt of all, Jennilea…..LEARN TO SPELL OR USE A F$#@ING SPELLCHECK!! It’s not THAT hard. Or maybe I’m wrong and it is over your head in which case I am sorry.
I have been watching Top Chef religiously, and I have to say that HUng is the most self-centered, ego-maniacal, and insensitive person on this entire season. Yes, I know it is Top Chef and not “Mother Theresa wannabes” or some such idea for a show, But being a chef is about more than cooking. Anyone who has worked in a kitchen knows that everything that is put out is a TEAM EFFORT! Hung has absolutely no sense of teamwork. He focused only on what HE was putting out and let the other chefs hang rather than helping them. I realize it is a competition, but everyone else helped out eachother, and if anyone else had won I would have been fine. I would even be okay with him winning if he hadn’t been so self-serving all the time. He is an a$$ and there is no more to it than than. I’ve scraped more humanity from the bottom of my shoe, than he will ever have. If you haven’t seen season 3 yet, watch it, and tell me I’m wrong. I dare you.
