In his first major public appearance since his August suicide attempt, actor Owen Wilson came out to support his movie The Darjeeling Limited. The actor avoided the red carpet and swarm of media, to enter the theater and suprise friends and co-stars.

Shown a very warm welcome back into the spotlight, Wilson was introduced by director Wes Anderson as “my best friend,” and the audience erupted into applause. Onstage, Wilson looked healthy and confident in a dark suit and white button-down shirt.

He didn’t stay long, but good to see he’s making wise choices about appearences and sticking close to family and friends who love and support him.
