Britney Spears Family Currently Staging an Intervention

Britney Spears Crying

OK! Magazine is reporting the Britney Spears’ family, mother Lynne, sister Jamie Lyn, and ex-husband Kevin Federline are at her Malibu pad and are staging an intervention to help the flailing pop songstress out of trouble, into rehab and get her the help she desperately needs.

This all comes after yet another bizarre evening of hard partying and erratic behavior from Britney. Early Friday evening, Brit, producer JR Rotem and hanger-on Sam Lusty spent hours driving around Los Angeles and Beverly Hills being followed by a caravan of paparazzi, until utlimately ending up at the posh Peninsula Hotel, where Brit had holed herself up for a few days earlier this week, following the decision by Court Commissioner Scott Gordon to give full temporary custody of her two young boys to K-Fed.

After the ‘louseketeers’ (nice call OK!) finally left the hotel, she drove back to Malibu (the three screaming at each other in the car,) had car trouble, drove erratically, rambled incoherently and had police come to investigate a possible break-in. Mom, sister and ex-hubby are there now. Ya gotta hope this succeeds but the truth is, I fear she isn’t ready for it. Prove me wrong, Britney; for your sake.
