Lindsay Lohan Countersues Restaurant Employee

Lindsay Lohan leaving restaurant

At the height of her addictions, Lindsay Lohan may have done some improper things; being intoxicated and hitting Raymundo Ortega’s car in 2005 is not one of them, according to the suit Lohan’s attorney’s filed. Ortega’s action claims Lohan consumed alcohol, became intoxicated and crashed into his van.

…Lohan claimed Ortega’s allegations were “nothing more than an attempt to extort money from a celebrity by making false and scurrilous allegations in a complaint.”

In making her case, the 21-year-old starlet pointed to the police report taken at the scene, which stated that “Ms. Lohan had not been drinking and there was no signs of intoxication at the time of the incident.”

Within the police report, the responding officer wrote “while speaking with the involved parties, I did not observe any objective signs of either alcohol or drug intoxication and determined that no further investigation regarding intoxication was warranted.”

The officer who responded to the crash determined that Ortega had made an illegal u-turn and was responsible for the crash. Lohan is asking for $75,000 in damages while Ortega is asking for $200,000.
