The new #1 album on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, Rock N Roll Jesus, from Kid Rock offers explicit lyrics and varying styles of music. Some personal tidbits are woven in the songs�to tantalize the listener.

The new release will hopefully overtake the other reason that the musician has been garnering attention lately. In an interview with the Associated Press, Kid Rock commented on his recent stint in the tabloids — sparked by his MTV VMA scuffle with TOMMY LEE — saying, “US Weekly will be gone next week … the songs I am writing won’t.” And, while he adds that he was “an idiot in love” with PAMELA ANDERSON, he’s enjoying the single life, as evidenced in “So Hott,” a song with heavy guitars and raunchy lyrics. Though he says he has no regrets for marrying Anderson, he seemingly sends her a message in the country-inspired “Half Your Age,” which tells of his new woman folding his clothes, and being “half your age and twice as hot.”

Not so�thinly veiled, but subtly was never Bob Ritchie’s calling card. I’d still pay to see him smack Tommy Lee around. Ok I wouldn’t pay, but I would watch.
