When you are in a legal jam and you have considerable cash, what do you do? If you are magician David Copperfield, you might alledgely offer cash (2 million dollars to the Seattle woman,) to make your problems disappear.

Copperfield yesterday declined to say whether he had $2 million on hand or made a settlement offer to his accuser. “We are respecting the process of the investigation and the confidentiality that surrounds it,” he told us.

While the FBI has raided his Vegas warehouse, the bureau is declining to comment on whether that much money was found, as has been speculated. Digital camera equiptment and a computer hard drive are what is known to have been seized in the raid.
