After telling the world she would run the NYC Marathon this fall, sometime actress, Katie Holmes made good on her word and finished the 26.2 mile course today in 5 hours, 13 minutes and 37 seconds.

The marathon’s course, a standard 26.2 miles, took Holmes through all five boroughs of the city, starting in Staten Island and finishing in Manhattan’s Central Park, where a group of friends and family members waited with Cruise to cheer her on.

She was celebrated at an after party with husband Tom Cruise, daughter Suri, and family friends at NYC’s famous restaurant, Tavern on the Green.
