George Clooney as G.I Joe?
After havinglots ofcritical, but not as many, financial successes, George Clooney is looking to action hero G.I. Joe to amp up his box office prowess. The mega-watt star has replaced one project with this action adaptation.
According to Moviehole.net, Clooney has abandoned his role in director Joe Carnahan’s film White Jazz in favor of appearing as the action hero.
A source tells the website, “Rumor is that one of the reasons he (Clooney) walked away from White Jazz was not only due to scheduling conflicts but also because he is looking for a blockbuster to star in.
I really don’t know much about G.I. Joe, but isn’t Clooney too old for this? He reportedly was offered the role of Duke, and beat out Mark Wahlberg.
