Mischa Barton Denies Brody Jenner a Date
One time OC star Mischa Barton has decided to focus on her ahem, career, and stay away from the rich pampered boys she has dated in the past.
She spent most of the summer in Europe working and making movies. She has four or five films due to be released in 2008. Mischa has made up her mind NOT to date any more “trust fund” babies. She wants a self-made man who doesn’t depend on his family for money. She felt her exboyfriends Brandon Davis and Cisco Adler were coddled and spoiled by their families and lacked ambition. Maybe that’s why she turned down Brody Jenner when he asked her for a date recently!
Now if only she’d take some more acting lessons.

I almost forgot about the last line in your article that reads: “Now if only she’d take some more acting lessons” I guess the famous producer/ director Sir Richard Attenborough said to himself when he hired Mischa for the lead in his new high budget film “Closing the Ring”…”I think I’ll hire the girl who needs “acting lessons”! It’s amazing how many jealous people there are out there!

first of all may i add, that the only so called “rich boy” she dated was brandon!
after that she dates cisco who is in a band gosh his not rich! but you cant accuse mischa for going out with what you call “rich pampered boys” when you see 25 year old celebs marring 60 year old people GOD!
You have no right accusing her of such things.
She has nine movies on the go and she is an amazing actress, better than amazing. You have obviosly never seen her act!

Four or five films??? Try NINE, plus about three or four others that she’s in line to start shooting next year!!
And as for what she wants in a guy, she’s said in interviews that what she’s looking for has nothing to do with how rich they are - The reason she doesn’t want anyone else like Brandon or Cisco is because she said they were too immature and what she wants is a mature and intelligent guy who makes her laugh. I don’t think she cares about money at all, unlike so many of her contemporaries who, instead of actually working, are all out getting drunk, stoned, knocked up and locked up.
And as for her needing acting lessons, well, once again, if you’d actually read any of the interviews with people who’ve worked with her, they ALL say that she’s one of the best actresses they’ve ever worked with. And those comments come from people like Richard Attenborough, who certainly knows a fair bit about acting and can spot talent when he sees it!
OH MY GOD!
I will never ever figure out WHY people have to bash Mischa constantly for everything she does and without KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT HER life or her career!!!
Focus your attention on someone else because free, pointless bashing wont get you anywhere.
The truth is the world would be SO MUCH better if anyone was like Mischa.
She is Queen and there’s nothing you can write to stop her AWESOMNESS.

Wow. Who knew there was such a thriving Mischa cult. Ok nine movies. If one of those turns out to be any good, I’ll make sure to mention it. Quality over quantity. We shall see. Remember, everyone wanted to work with Keanu Reeves for a long time and that didn’t ensure his acting was up to the task. Now go drink your Kool-Aid.
