No Baby New York in our Near Future
You may have heard rumors this week that VH1 reality star Tiffany “New York” Pollard had gotten pregnant by one of the men on her reality show I Love New York 2. However, the VH1 Blog says that isn’t true!
However, all of that could change very soon. In a recent interview with New York for our Ask New York series (see Part 1 and Part 2), we asked New York this question sent in by Devans00: “What’s next for you after you get your man? What are your goals? What’s the next big thing New York will conquer?” Without having to be pushed at all, New York revealed that baby may be on the way for her very shortly. Says New York:
“There’s something that’s going on with me right now and…uh, I’m almost ready for mommyhood. I’m really nervous and I can’t believe I just said that, but there’s something starting to tick in me. And you know, I’m only 25, I’ll be 26 in January, and I’m almost to that point where I can almost see myself being a mommy, like, real soon! So I think that’s next.“
Oh, say it ain’t so! If you’re like me, you started your love affair with New York in that she’s so awful it’s entertaining way, and now, you’re just in love with her. I love her for all of the deliciousness she brings to my life every week: the drama, her mama, the men! And, I love her because she’s now become a television icon with her enormous chest and eyes so heavy with makeup and false lashes that she can barely keep them open. I love all the desperate dudes trying to win their fifteen minutes of fame and fifteen minutes doing the nasty with Miss NY. Part of me hopes she finds true love this time (with Punk, even though he’s gay), but the other part of me hopes she just keeps this sh*t going forever and ever! I want her to be like 65 with some 20-year-old ghetto guys vying for her heart. I LOVE New York!
Perhaps I’m not thinking of the big picture, though. Maybe a New York: Welcome to tha ‘Hood (Motherhood) show might be refreshing?
