Saleisha Cooper Wins America’s Next Top Model
The season finale of America’s Next Top Model aired tonight, and it came down to two beautiful women: Chantaline Albeknowe and Saleisha Cooper. But, as Tyra says, “There can be only one America’s Next Top Model,” and that model was Saleisha Cooper!

During the weekly competitions and photo shoots, Saleisha Cooper kept her head in the game, even when she was dangling from a wire harness in Episode 10. Later in that same episode, director Jeffrey Chu said that she had a very good presence while filming her commercial for CoverGirl’s Queen Collection. Tyra Banks confirmed Saleisha’s status when she told her that inner beauty goes a long way. “From week to week, the judges are impressed with your spirit,” Banks said.
When the girls went to “Go See” famous fashion designers in Episode 11, Saleisha came in second and, later on during the photo shoot, art director Jay Manuel summed up Saleisha’s chances when he said “Every week, Saleisha gives me timid, but she’s turned around, she’s turned a new leaf.” Banks, who served as guest photographer in Episode 12, confirmed Saleisha’s high standing when she said “You put your nerves into your work.”
The 21-year-old was a receptionist, but will now hopefully enjoy her fifteen minutes of fame followed by a successful modeling career. Congrats, Saleisha!

Saleisha was my first choice from day one
IM very happy she won.
Congrats to her, especially considering they gave the poor girl a 3 stooges/shrek haircut to deal with from the jump. She pulled it off.
She should have never won. She looked the same in everyone of her pictures.
She’ll be just another girl that gets her contract dropped from covergirl at
year end. I didn’t care for her personality, but Jenah wiped the floor with
the two finalists.
My fav was Heather.
O my god. I could not even expect that Saleisha could win. She is not beautiful,her haircut is awful, her face neither pretty or even nice. Look at her nose,ooooo my god,her shoulders I can not even see her neck,llooooollll. I did not like Jenah as well,her silly sad stories about childhood are so boring,it a trap for judges. But I think that Chantal is pretty nice,although she is a not natural blond, she looks nice.

omg! Jenna Jenna Jenna! she soo should have won. Her pictures were versatile and she was strong. Chantal was stupid and fake. Saleisha’s pictures were not as strong as Jenna’s and she was not as real as she was. America’s next top model is not a personality competition and i believe that the judges should acknowledge that. The model industry is not about being nice , but about having excellent pictures. Jenna had that and Saleshia and Chantal didn’t. They both did not have tough skin which will hurt them in the industry. Jenna would have been able to survive and hopefully become successful.

Tyra loved Saleisha too..so much so that she had her modeling for her already before this cycle on her other show and previous cycle 6 and hanging out with her at her own camp. The competition is fake and Tyra is a fake too. Poor Tyra trying to recapture her “modeling youth” by picking her own little
mini-me!

everyone just needs to back off! Stop calling people ugly because all the girls were beautiful. I’m sure half the girls calling them ugly are ugly. Between Jenah’s attitude and Chantal tripping the guy on stilts what was Tyra going to do.

So Jenah had an attitude, even Tyra admitted that her pictures were better. I understood and connected with her too, I just think the judges weren’t able to get a real appreciation for who Jenah is because they didn’t spend that much time with her. She was much more like a real person, a person who has problems and issues and struggles. I find that much more relatable then the bubbly attitudes of Chantal and Saleisha.
None of the girls are ugly. Clearly you’ve never watched Maury. Saleisha would make a good Cover Girl model, but she’s not runway material. There’s a lack of sophistication to her look. But the fact that she knew and modeled for Tyra is so scandalous, I’m surprised it’s not more known.
Some of you guys are really negative. Those girls did a wonderful job and I am sure some of them will get picked up. I did not think Saleshia would win, but I was rooting for her. She had more drive and desire than all those girls put together and she deserved to win. She seems to be a well rounded person overall compared to the other girls as well. I wish her and the rest of the girls the best of luck in the future. I have watched all cycles of top model and it seems that the winner up is always the better choice and the one more likely to get a job.

Well Here in oz this season is finally showing. Its up to final four (Heather just left) and I just saved 4 hrs of watching tv by checkin out this site. Im disappointed in the winner, but thats life I guess! (Hated the bowl cut)

She really deserved to win. Out of all the models competing, she was the best role model and model.
I give her a thumbs up! FINALLY, they chose someone who actually deserved to win!
I am wondering.. does anyone know where Saleisha got her great purple strapless top, that she wore to judging in the episode where Ambreal gets kicked off? It is gorgeous! If anyone has a picture of it, that would be helpfull too

The current cylce 12 of ANTM contains (and contained) some beautiful models, but I think the girls from season 11 got some more talent. Ciao
