Tailor Made Wins I Love New York 2
Who would have thought, at the beginning of Season 2 of I Love New York, that if it came down between smarmy Tailor Made and sexy Buddha, Tailor Made would come out looking like the more decent guy? But, that’s just what’s happened as the weeks progressed. As time went on, the cast’s true colors started to come out, and Buddha, the serial dating show-er (Hell Date; Blind Date; Gay, Straight, or Taken?; I Love New York 2), started to come off as a bit of a controlling abuser, whereas Tailor Made started to give off a truly sincere vibe.
The finale starts off with what’s left of the gang heading to Jamaica. Buddha, Tailor Made, and New York are at dinner, Buddah’s giving New York the stare-down like he wants to kill them all, and Tailor Made lets New York know he’s gotten yet another lavish gift for her.
An empty box.
This apparently charms the pants off New York, and they go make out on the beach. I just love getting empty boxes from suitors!
During Buddha’s date with New York, he takes her horseback-riding in the ocean. She’s freaking out, but he calms her down with some of his smooth-talking. Meanwhile, the unsung hero Sister Patterson, aka New York’s mom, arrives and gives Tailor Made a wake up call (read: slap-in-the-face) to prepare himself for battle so he can go win his woman!
It doesn’t look like TM needs that much ammo, though, as Buddha is ready to bury himself (”Hell f*ckin’ naw I ain’t in love witchu!”). Nonetheless, they get it on.
Tailor Made doesn’t disappoint (or does he?) with the next box he gives to New York. It’s…dum dede dum!…an engagement ring! This evokes some bad memories for New York, and she leaves.
Come decision time, New York lists the boys’ strengths and weaknesses, and then breaks out Tailor Made’s engagement ring and makes like she is going to propose to Buddha with it. But, she pulls out the stops and tells him she isn’t in love with him, she’s in love with Tailor Made!
A few facts about George, aka Tailor Made:
- Is a fashion planner
- Says his humiliating moment was when he got in trouble for making inappropriate comments at work
- Considers himself not religious
- Loves to be pampered and loves money
- Woos women with money and gifts
- Has been to marriage counseling before moving forward with a divorce
- Believes in the importance of good skin care
- Has a beautiful daughter
Congratulations, Tailor Made! Don’t make us have to start watching I Love New York 3!

She picked the right man, she needs a man who can help her get dressed befor she goes out. Buddah was just a dumb person and was actually quite creepy
