People’s Choice Awards Cancelled

People’s Choice Awards

Another axed award show due to the Writers’ Strike!  Do we really need all these boring awards shows, anyway?  Furthermore, if the “people” are voting, and all they pretty much do is announce the winners, why do they need writers again?  I’m just sayin’!

“Extra” has just learned that the People’s Choice Awards ceremony has been canceled. Plans to televise some form of the show on CBS on January 8th is scheduled but no press is allowed and no red carpet. Stay tuned for an update.

No red carpet?!  I thought that was the whole point of award shows was to kiss celebrities’ butts as they saunter down the red carpet in their expensive designer ensembles…or in my case, make fun of them!
