Bombshell model�Carla Bruni has the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy�under her considerable charms. Bruni has a reputation for dating older, powerful men (Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger and Donald Trump to name a few,) and leaving a trail of tears in her wake.�Jagger was infamously seeing Bruni on the side when long term girlfriend, Jerry Hall finally gave him the boot because Jagger met up with Bruni just after Hall had given birth to the couple’s third child.

As for her romance with the recently divorced Sarkozy, she seems at ease with the media storm surrounding her in France.

And this weekend they chose a family trip to Disneyland Resort Paris to air their relationship in public for the first time, ending speculation that bubbled up in November when Bruni was spotted at the presidential palace, and rose to a simmer when she was later spotted walking through the grounds of the Chateau of Versailles with Sarkozy and her mother.

The liaison between the man who has been touted as Europe’s most eligible bachelor since his divorce from his wife, Cecilia, in October and the Italian-born, French-raised former model, who has a reputation as a man-eater, has sent the French media into overdrive.

Not that Miss Bruni minds one scrap. “She told me the publicity did not bother her, and that from now on, it would become an affair, a public love story,” one of her friends, Christophe Barbier, editor of the news weekly L’Express, told French television.

Her political leanings�have been identified as�to be more to the left, while Sarkozy is right-wing and conservative. It should make for a volatile match in paparazzi heaven.
