Frontrunner for the 2008 campaign for Chanel and 15 year old daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean Cobain is said to be leading the pack of young ingenues to star in the fashion house advertising and media blitz.

Frances, who recently denied dating Jack Osborne, is reported to be “overwhelmed” by the prospect but also looks forward to “what the Chanel experience has to offer.”

Her striking features (check out those eyes, click image to enlarge) and youth (Emma Watson has also recently been linked to Chanel) certainly make her a great candidate for the job.

Plus, ya gotta wonder if mom didn’t piss away her fortune. I’m just sayin’…
