Pregnant Missing Marine Maria Lauterbach is Dead

Marie Lauterbach

The 20-year-old pregnant Marine, Lance Cpl Maria Lauterbach, who has been missing for a month is dead according to Onslow County sheriff Ed Brown.

Although the body has not been found, it is believed that she was buried in a shallow grave.

The accused superior officer, Cesar Armando Laurean, is the suspect in the case and his whereabouts are unknown.

“They don’t know where he is,” Brown said of the suspect. “He’s gone.” The court papers said the anticipated birth of the baby “might provide evidentiary credence to charges she lodged with military authorities that she was sexually assaulted by a senior military person.

“Brown said a key witness in the case said the Marine was dead for some time.”

Lauterbach was said to be a compulsive liar, according to her mother and military investigators, and had accused a superior officer of sexually assaulting her. This is a sad case of crying wolf.

I live in Onslow County and have been following this story in the news. My husband is a Marine and is currently serving in Iraq where he has been since January of last year. It sickens me that this Laurean guy still holds the same title *Marine* as my husband. He is trained to kill the enemy before they kill him, but does that include an 8 month pregnant fellow Marine? Certainly not! Instead of facing his reality of the horrible act he comitted he is cowardly running after murdering her and the unborn helpless baby. I call it baby because if it had the chance to be born…it could have survived. He didnt even give it a fighting chance. I hope they catch him soon! Miss Lauterback deserves justice, and as for her step-mother who bashed her calling her a compulsive liar and bi-polar…shame on you. I hope you feel remorse for those statements made, causing doubt in her investigation against this man. My heart goes out to the family of all the victims and the suspect. This is clearly a difficult time for them, but as always, keep your head up, because even if justice isnt surved now…he will have to pay for it someday!!! ~peace out

If Ms. Lauterback were really a compulsive liar, she would have been found out when she took the stand in court martial. This slander against a woman who’ll never be able to defend herself is just another case of the media getting most of their info from the defense attorney, who’s not bound by UCMJ to keep silent, as the JAG prosecutor and military staff are.

Furthermore, why would someone kill her unless her testimony would prove she was telling the truth, and why dispose of her body in such a way that it wouldn’t be found unless that baby could prove it beyond reasonable doubt?

Cesar Lauren, wherever you are, if you truly are innocent then turn yourself in. And if you’re not - you’ve disgraced the service of every soldier who’s ever worn the uniform. Every deployment, every medal and badge and coin you’ve ever earned are worthless in light of your betrayal to your brothers and sisters-in-arms.

I live in Vandalia, OH..where Maria Lauterbach is originally from. I went to high school with her and my best friend played softball and soccer with her her whole life. As far as her mother “bashing” her, she was not saying anything but the truth. It was known that she was bipolar and a compulsive liar. Im not saying no one liked her but everyone just knew. So her mom just just stating the truth, nothing against her daughter at all. She told some people she was raped and others she wasnt. And I also hope they catch that POS really soon!

Please tell the world … was it Maria’s precious mother or step-mother who reportedly “bashed” her?

    Thank you,

My father was an Officer in the United States Marine Corps.Born and raised in Onslow County, NC. Also married a a marine.. Never in my life did I imagine such a tragic crime like this to occur in my hometown. Especially with in the protectors of our country, the Marine Corps. It is sad to say that these crimes that get overlooked in the military do end badly and hopefully this will be a lesson the those who were in charge of protecting an innocent woman carrying an innocent baby boy. What kind of a man murders the woman carrying his child, especially one the has a daughter. I don’t know how he would have felt if some one had murdered his wife and baby before she had a chance to live outside of her mother’s body. And it is also sad that in the state of NC there is no double murder charges for murdering a pregnant woman, however if found, I am sure Cesar Armando Laurean’s charges will not be taken lightly. This “Marine” whom has chosen to flea the investigation probably will be found dead for he is a coward and a disgrace to the military and in my mind I do not see how any person can live with the things he has done. It frightens me to know that a woman went to authorities of the military to report a rape and it was taken so lightly that they continued to have the man she filed rape charges against still to work with. These are the same people who are in charge of defending our country and protecting the United Stated of America, yet they did almost nothing to protect one of their own Marines. Women are afraid enough as it is to report rape cases because of feelings of shame, feelings that “maybe it was their fault”. This woman was carrying a child as a result of a rape and I can only imagine the pain she went through throughout her pregnancy knowing that the child she was carrying was the child of a man that raped her. My prayers are with Maria Lauterbach’s family and friends. My God be with you in this time of tragic events. To Maria and her unborn baby boy, God Bless. You are in a better place where you will be safe eternally. And as to any one with knowledge to the whereabouts of Cpl. Laurean, it is a shame you have yet to come forward.

They need to catch this guy fast.
Cesar Armando Laurean is a scumbag killer who picks on girls.
    What a coward he is.
The best word for him is loser.
I hope he gets mad and comes after me because I laugh at him all over the Internet.
I would love to come face to face with that jerk.
Maria will always be an angel.
    May she rest in peace!
    I am,

I worked at Maria Lauterbach’s grammar school and her mother is abusive and trashy–I have witnessed it and UNFORTUNATELY know her. She is a nasty drunk that has slept with 100s of men in front of her daughter. Her nastiness & terrible parenting may be a big reason that her daughter is dead today. I was there when she told Maria (age 9) that she would never amount to anything, always be a burden and that people would never like her! More recently,I have heard, mommie dearest has been on a bipolar tangent about becoming a grandmother. Great mom! Got to give those kids all the kindness and confidence ya can… God bless you Maria, you are finally free.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how the mother of Marie can say such negative comments about her daughter! Where is her sadness about the loss of a daughter and grandchild? The mother is looking like an ass. If the mother can’t say something nice, she should say nothing.

The liberals and feminists have trained you to think that women, children, minorities, those who engage in homosexual behavior, and others are the victims-du-jour and need protection. If you believe it you are an idiot.

You are being told what to think and you are so accustomed to this that you don’t even try to think for yourselves anymore. Stop watching television. Read some books on logic, critical thinking, and basic psychology. Then form your own intelligent, informed, qualified opinions instead of being meat robots.

Consider these ideas: A rape accusation is a death sentence for the average man. A court order for ‘child support’ is a death sentence for the average man. Women have complete autonomy in reproduction. Rape charges require little or no physical evidence.

And before you fawn over this young woman, ask yourself these questions: Why did this girl accuse this man of rape and yet continue to associate and engage is sexuality with him? Why did this girl choose to become and then remain pregnant?

Consider all the points and ask yourself if you have the courage to consider the possibility that she abused her abilities to entice sexuality, to procreate, and to accuse him of rape for some nefarious purpose. There is plenty of evidence to suggest this, including the testimonials of friends and relatives that unanimously decry her as a liar.

Consider the power this girl held over this man- on her words alone, without any physical evidence, she could have him imprisoned for years, destroy his career, destroy his marriage, and more. By her giving birth, she has claim to tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of his current and future finances as well as the power to command an array of punishments if he fails to pay. This kind of disparate power forces the oppressed to act out in violence since they have no way out and no recourse.

Can you not see that, under these circumstances, it is nearly impossible for a man to defend himself from an accusation of wrongdoing and other potential repercussions of having sex with a woman?

Mark my words- we are going to see an escalation of wives, girlfriends, pregnant women and children murdered in this country. Until you have been behind the eight-ball with no options and no protections, you cannot speak to the desperation and hopelessness it instills. Men are placed here every day by the feminist laws, policies, and ideas rampant in this country. It should come as no surprise that many men choose the only power and control they have- the power to destroy.

    Sleep well.

Bill, while I somewhat understand where you’re coming from, are you seriously trying to say that because Cesar faced these rape charges, he is justified in KILLING Maria and her UNBORN BABY?! Give me a BREAK! Maybe she wasn’t a perfect person. Maybe he was wrongly accused. This is all circumstantial, and even so, none of it adds up or justifies murder. If you’re threatening women to watch their backs because scorned men are going to kill them, you are not only crazier than hell, but you’re evil! Is your name Bill or Drew Peterson?

I wonder if Maria knew who her biological parents were and if she had a relationship with them? From what I have read, one of them is a distant relative of Mary Lauterbach. Since Maria was born in Florida, I wonder what relatives Mary has that lived in Florida in the late 80’s? Seems most of them have lived and currently live in the Midwest, so I can’t imagine the pool is that large.
