Maria Lauterbach’s Body Found, Killer at Large
Authorities have found what they believe to be the remains of Lance Cpl. Maria Frances Lauterbach and her unborn baby, buried in suspect Cesar Armando Laurean’s back yard. Fox News also reported that one of the rooms in Laurean’s house was covered in blood, and he and his wife bleached and painted the room to cover it up.
Laurean is currently on the run after authorities tried contacting him to question him on the whereabouts of Maria Lauterbach.
Before fleeing Jacksonville on Friday, Laurean left a note that said Lauterbach had “come to his residence and cut her (own) throat.”
“The hunt is on to find Cesar Armando Laurean, who was last seen 8 hours ago leaving Onslow County. He is believed to be driving a black Dodge Pickup with the North Caroline tag 1522.”
There is a $25,000 reward for anyone who locates Laurean.
