Before Tom Cruise settled for Dawson’s Creek cutie Katie Holmes (remember when she was still adorable…and human?), he had a couple of potential conquests on his list, or so says Andrew Morton. At the top of the supposed list were Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, and Jennifer Garner. Tom even allegedly left a message on Garner’s answering machine asking if she “knew what freedom was.” Best pickup line ever! Sadly, it didn’t work on Jen, and Katie fell for her schoolgirl crush. After all, it was every girl’s dream to marry Tom Cruise. Circa 1986!
