Alexis Cohen Responds to Angry American Idol Viewers
Many of you caught the audition by one Alexis Cohen on American Idol last night.� If you don’t remember the name, she was the one who sang “Somebody to Love” with the glittery eyeshadow and was going to pursue “actressing.”� The Idol producers went and filmed her at her house, yet they did not give her the golden ticket to Hollywood.� Well, she is still pissed!� She left a comment on Idol Mania earlier this week saying how much Idol had hurt her.� She was met with an onslaught of hate messages on the site, including people who claimed to know her in high school wanting to weigh in on how “mean” she was.
Alexis Cohen was on the American Idol Philadelphia Auditions on 1-15-08, and had previously voiced her opinions on this site. This is verified by Email and IP address.
With the public viewing of her audition and the negative reactions Alexis has once again spoken up.

I know Alexis personally. She kicks ass! She is real and honest. She is an awesome person and i am grateful she’s my friend.
Well Alexis, you dissappointed me tonight Jan. 29/09 with your lame performance. Why couldn’t you do as good as you did last year?

Idol producers should be ashamed of themselves for misleading this poor woman. They made her think that she actually had a chance in the competition, but in reality she was comic relief. Nobody wants to be the next William Hung, so the producers find some poor delusional soul and film their house, interview their family, go to lots of work to make them think they have a chance…only so the judges can reject them. You could see the confusion on her face. She only got angry after she realized she’d been used.
It’s sick that people in this country prey on the mentally ill and poverty stricken like this. Leave them alone!! Or at least have a little empathy for them.
And now she’s dead :/
