Heath Ledger Dies of Pneumonia
TMZ is reporting that Heath Ledger had pneumonia at the time of his death, and that rumors of an overdose are untrue.
TMZ is also reporting that reps for Heath Ledgers family have contacted TMZ and the family are denying any suicide rumors. The police have informed the family that Heath Ledgers death was absolutely accidental.

I believe Heath Ledger died of pneumonia.
Pneumonia appeared to have your heartbeat faster than normal and grasp for breath.
It is saddening to lose one great actor .

Sooo i just wanted to say that… do you people know that if you die from a drug overdose it will show pneumonia on the autopsy? You can ALSO go into cardiac arrest… I know of two other people who this happened to… one very recently who i dated for a year. He passed away a few months ago and they did an autopsy which was said to have shown pneumonia as the cause of death… yet, every other thing that happened points to a drug overdose… Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and the only people that know the truth in any of these cases are the ones that were there. You can believe what you want, but i know what i believe…
Well the results have come back yet…but it was confirmed that he did have pneumonia…I refuse to believe he killed himself. Maybe an accidental overdose but not intentional. He made plans for the next day…if you are killing yourself you don’t do that….
(i know its been nearly 6 months)
First I will say that:
A) Heath DID NOT commit suicide, he loved life, his work and most of all his family and daughter.
B) He DID NOT die of pneumonia, Ive had it twice and im only 21, although it wouldn’t have helped.
C) He DID die of an ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE of PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION and he will be forever missed. He was a true testiment to the acting community and he was taken from us WAY too early. His final role, The Dark Knight is brilliant and shows how much of a commited and talented actor he was.
RIP forever Heathcliff Andrew Ledger.
