Is Chris Klein Suri’s Daddy?
I can’t believe we’re being forced to think about this again. First, we heard that L. Ron Hubbard‘s frozen spermies might have been involved in creating little Suri. People just can’t seem to believe that Tom Cruise can really make a baby! Now, The National Enquirer is reporting that Katie Holmes‘ ex-fiance (aww, remember the adorable, pre-robot Katie? They were so cute together!) Chris Klein may be Suri’s REAL father, and that Suri is actually older than they are leading us to believe.
“Mad Money star Katie, 29, and Chris, 27, started dating in January 2000. They got engaged at Christmas 2003, but Chris has said they split in March 2005 because they fell out of love.A month after the breakup, Katie flew to Los Angeles from New York to meet Tom. Two months after that – on June 17, 2005 – Tom announced Katie had accepted his wedding proposal.
But even before their engagement was made public, Chris told the source that he had impregnated Katie, says the pal. Shortly after his relationship with Katie ended, Chris and I had a heart-to-heart, the source – who passed a polygraph test – told The Enquirer.
We were having dinner at Cafeteria, a restaurant in NYs Chelsea district, when Chris blurted out Dude, you know I got Katie preggers.
There was a long silence. I realized Chris had said more than he intended. My next thought was: What happened to the baby?
Chris never said – and the source says he didnt ask.
From the look in Chris eyes, I realized this was highly personal. I didnt want to probe any further. We quickly went on to another topic, the source said.
Chris never brought it up again, but I know he must be reminded of Katies pregnancy every time he sees her daughter Suri.
Despite all the funny business regarding Suri’s birth, this one seems a little far-fetched. What do YOU think? Is Tom Cruise really capable of getting someone knocked up, or is there really more to this story?

I think the reason they keep Suri in bangs is because she looks even more like her dad without bangs – she has his same Asian eyebrows. Wonder if there’s a deal for #2 with Chris Klein’s help = sperm donation. Everyone in Hollywood knows Tom Cruise shoots blanks. His ex’s become pregnant as soon as they leave him and hook up with someone else…coincidence? I don’t think so. I am sure his ex-wives know Suri could not possibly be Tom’s biological child. Oh well, she’ll definitely not want for anything growing up. Except maybe the truth.
Who is starting all these stuiped rumors? Clearly Suri looks like both Tom and Kate, not even slightly does she look like these other two ‘imposter’ fathers so-to-speak. STOP all these ridiculous rumors!!! That’s how is all begins. Do people realize that it is a reflection of both Tom and Kates morals and values on the line here? And think of their beautiful daughter Suri. How will this affect her one day if she reads about all of this!! Give it a rest — get on with the positive side of this family. They are trying to raise their little daughter. They don’t need this type of bad publicity. This nonsense is getting to be too much and has to stop! It’s insulting, period.
Now that Suri is older…umm..her likeness to Klein is unmistakable.
If this is true, I can’t help but question why a lie is better. Hollywood or not they would’ve eaten up the story for 15 minutes & then gone on to someone new. Fathers are absent all the time – one more would’ve been sad, but not shocking.
EK – it may be insulting….but Jane is right – people go by experience & from experience one would guess Tommy shoots blanks. I think he would’ve been more accepted & less ostracized if they just admitted she was pregnant, fell in love (or whatever), & he decided to raise the baby as his own. Truth is better in the long run.
