Amy Winehouse to Perform Live at the Grammy’s…via Satellite
It was on again, off again, on again, but now it’s official that Amy Winehouse WILL be performing live at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, but she’s going to do it via satellite!
The U.S. reversed their decision and agreed to grant Amy Winehouse a visa late Friday to come and perform, but Winehouse has wisely decided to stay in London.
Her publicists have released the following statement:
“Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be traveling to the U.S. to perform at the Grammys in person. Amy would like to thank all of those people, in particular the staff involved at the U.S. Embassy in London, who have all worked so hard to expedite her application. She is looking forward to being a part of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards with her Sunday night performance and to going back to the U.S. soon.”
