Paulina Porizkova is the Only One with any Sense on ‘ANTM’
Paulina Porizkova is pretty awesome. But, would you expect anyone who married Rick Ocasek from The Cars to be otherwise?
I was shocked when she went on America’s Next Top Model because I don’t see how anyone can get that close to Tyra Banks without going into a perpetual gagging fit, but she doesn’t seem to be holding back and tells it how it is.
Paulina recently told TV Guide this about ANTM: Models are not superstars anymore. With cheap computer retouching, anybody can be a cover girl. You can be 50 and have acne, but look gorgeous by the time theyre done with you. Models are back to what they were in the 70s: clothes hangers.
“[They want to be models] for the same reason I did theyre looking for love. They think, Im on TV; people will realize that Im worth something. But once the TVs over and they join the real world, itll be a whole different thing.
Let’s hope Tyra doesn’t have her killed for being honest! Paulina better “start smiling with her eyes,” and quick!
