Carly Smithson has become Vote for the Worst’s token villain this season. They claim that she lied to America when she said she had her shot with a record deal but the company went under. They say in truth, her record sold like 2 copies or something like that after they invested $2 million in her, and the company went under two years after her release. Nonetheless, she is still one of the darlings that everyone loves. This week she sang “Come Together” and sounded like she was trying to emulate Amanda “Pepe LePew” Overmyer. It was better than the Aerosmith version, I’ll give her that. Only time will tell if she’ll actually become a star or go back to being a bartender/tattoo artist or whatever she is. Get ‘em drunk and ink ‘em! I like it! Sounds like a reality show waiting to happen.
