‘If I Fell’ in Love with Jason Castro, Would I Have to Grow Dreads?

Caution: Nice commentary from me approaching!

Jason Castro sang “If I Fell” on last night’s Beatles American Idol. Despite lukewarm reviews from the judges, I thought it was decent. Have you noticed he makes the funniest expressions when he sings? I wonder if people around him get a contact high. Anyway…I thought other songs might have been better-suited for Castro, like “Across the Universe” or *cough* “Yesterday”, but I thought this was definitely one of the night’s better performances. I have to disagree with Bumpshack on this one…I’m a fan of Jason, but I don’t really think he’s a great singer. I don’t think he’d do well on the radio, but I think he’d be great on the festival circuit. How to summon a Jason Castro: Build a campfire, start singing an acoustic version of “Alcohol” by Barenaked Ladies, and wait for him to appear! Voila!
