Mariah Carey Gets A Thank You Gift From Adam Sandler
After working on Adam Sandler’s latest film, singer Mariah Carey was presented with a thank you gift that has special meaning to the superstar. Carey has always mentioned Marilyn Monroe as one of her idols and back when Monroe was making films, actresses often used something called a leaning board on set, because the costumes were so tight and body conscious, they were sewn into them and couldn’t sit down. The actress could lean back on the board between takes to get some rest. Sandler gifted Carey with a pink replica of the film prop that he owns.
Carey says, “When actresses of the day had to be sewn into costumes they had to use a leaning board. Adam had one from an old movie and I really liked it, so he had another one made in pink and sent to me.”
The duo worked together on the film, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.
