MTV’s Answer to ‘American Idol’: ‘Rock The Cradle’
If you are the son or daughter of a famous musician, you’re luck just improved. As if doors wouldn’t already open for you without much trouble, MTV thinks you might need a little extra helping hand. That’s where Rock The Cradle comes in; the newest foray into relity television by the network who brought you The Real World. Contestants are the proud offspring of various celebrity musicians who show off their genetic musical skills each week. The aspiring rock stars are:
• Jesse Money, daughter of Eddie Money
• Jesse Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider
• Lara Johnston, daughter of Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers
• A’keiba Burrell-Hammer, M.C. Hammer’s daughter
• Landon Brown (pictured left), son of Bobby Brown
• Lil Al B Sure, R&B singer Al B Sure’s son
• Crosby Loggins, Kenny Loggin’s son
• Chloe Rose Lattanzi, Olivia Newton John’s daughter
• Lucy Walsh (pictured right), daughter of the Eagles‘ Joe Walsh
Sean and Julian Lennon should host.
