Lauren Conrad Clears Things Up On MySpace

Lauren Conrad

Earlier this week US Weekly ran a story saying that Lauren Conrad felt betrayed by her friends Audrina Partridge and Brody Jenner. Lauren left a blog on her MySpace explaining how she felt about US Weekly and the story they ran:

Hey! I just wanted to take a moment to clear something up. I recently did an interview [with US Weekly] to talk about The Hills coming back on next week and what everyone had to look forward to. Unfortunately it was somehow turned into yet another poor me story. The article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent my words or feelings.

“I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or Brody. I love them both and said nothing to contradict this. I understand that headlines sell magazines, but I value my friendships above magazine sales any day. On a more positive note, I got to see some of the first episode yesterday and it looks amazing. Im sooooooo excited for everyone to see Paris. Best wishes and I hope everyone tunes in Monday.

I wonder how come US Weekly switched the story on her like that? Because the other one would have been really boring? Catch a new season of The Hills on Monday.

I’m extremely serious about this and just have NO clue. I’m also afraid about ideas being stolen? Mostly I need to figure out how to get them out there to the masses?
