Chace Crawford And Carrie Underwood Broke Up Through A Text Message

Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford

Carrie Underwood revealed the way that Chace Crawford and her broke up last night at the American Idol Gives Back taping.

“We broke up over text, so it’s like ‘peace out,’” Underwood, 25, said at the Idol Gives Back taping in Hollywood Sunday. “It was completely mutual, we’re both fine.”

She said they haven’t talked “in a while, but I mean, I don’t dislike him. So it’s no big deal.”

Their relationship “just didn’t work,” Underwood added, “and we both knew it didn’t work and [there are] no hard feelings at all whatsoever.”

Dating in the public eye is “difficult … because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are,” she said.

Awww poor Chace. He can come over and cry on my shoulder if he wants!!
