Michael Lohan: Missionary Life Would Straighten LiLo Out
Lindsay Lohan’s management is denying yesterday’s reports that she will be joining father Michael, who is apparently a born-again Christian, on his next mission trip to India with Times Square Church Missions. She was supposedly going to accompany him to reach out to child sexual slaves and AIDS victims.
In a truly fine example of charity and love <gag>, Michael lashed out at her management today:
“I think we can all see that her present so-called friends and management have her focused on the wrong projects and things. If Lindsay would just listen to me and follow my guidance, like she did when her life was on the right path, and before the people you see now that are in her life, I guarantee that her life would straighten out and she’d be back to being the gifted actress everyone knew and loved.”
I love how he’s blaming her current circle for her woes and not, oh maybe looking in the mirror and wondering what he could have done differently? Or did it ever occur to him that maybe she doesn’t WANT to go? We’ll fully admit that going on a mission is definitely more worthy than partying with her girlfriend BFF Samantha Ronson. But I’m thinking that Lindsay needs a lot more than a mission to straighten herself out…. and a lot more than a LOT of missions to make her a “gifted” actress!
