Incarcerated Amy Winehouse is Now Free

After spending the night in jail under policy custody, Amy Winehouse was finally released this morning and it seems like everything was solved and she won’t face jail time.

Her spokeswoman said today: “Amy Winehouse was questioned this morning at a London police station in connection to an incident in Camden in the early hours of April 23, 2008.

“She admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and accepted a caution.

“Amy was fully co-operative with inquiries and apologised for the incident.

“She thanked the police for their professional handling of the matter. There will be no further action taken.

“Amy is looking forward to continuing her work on new music in the studio.”

That means Amy confessed and apologized, she got a little slap on the wrist and that is it!! The incident will not go to court but it will be kept in her records.

Now if only Amy Winehouse could stay out of trouble…

She truly believes ’she is legend’ enough to hurt other people at will. That ‘comment’ was from her lawyer. Girlfriend is not capable of such coherence at this point. She head-butted a man in the face because he would not surrender his pool table to her. Very nice. She punched another man in the face. No one had assaulted her, no one had threatened her. I am so disgusted by this hideous harridan that I am throwing her CD away. I used to be a fan of her music, but no more. I am disgusted by her, and I am disgusted by the travesty of a UK justice system that holds a creature like that above the law.

This is not decadence she embodies a la the Rolling Stones, but depravity: the drug videos, the bloody fights with her husband, the self-slicing, on and on… but this. This is the end. She has no respect for her life and her gifts? Sad but her business. But now she projects this outward onto innocent people in her path who value their lives? Wrong.

What disgusts me as much or more than the fact that she did this to innocent fellows who just happened to be in the path of her snarling megalomania, is the fact that she was let off with just a slap on the wrist and a ‘warning’. That is not justice. This is not cool or bad ass. It just confirms her bloated sense of entitlement that deprives other people of their most basic rights to safety and not to be harmed.

The fellow followed the law. He reported her. And what justice did he get for her unprovoked violent act of contempt? Nothing. To the next lad she head-buts in a pub or punches viciously in the face for being a ‘crumb’ next to her magnificence, remember the saying is ‘a man never hits a lady.’ No one has a right to haul off and hurt you physically just because they are the flavor of the moment.
