The Diva Mariah Carey Does Good Morning America (Videos)

E=MC2 album went to number one in the Billboard Charts and Mariah Carey celebrated with a special performance for Good Morning America yesterday. During the performance of the hit single ‘Touch My Body’ chaos started:

The music started too soon, before Carey was ready to begin her rendition of Touch My Body in New York City’s Times Square.

Carey turned away and regained her composure before joining the song and beginning her descent down a staircase onto the stage.

Her problems mounted as the track continued to skip and repeated the first few lines of the song over and over again.

In the middle of the song, a backup singer was so out of line that Mariah had to call her on that. When watching ‘Touch My Body’ video, skip to the 3rd minute and you can clearly hear Mariah saying “Stop singing my part now, baby!” I bet Mariah wanted to call her b*tch, I would! :)

But, in true superstar fashion, Carey finished the song with style and afterwards grinned, telling the crowd and TV audience, “A little creative. I try to bring something new to the moment every time.”
