Everyone just needs to chill about this. People make mistakes many times on a daily basis. And she admits that she does and will because she is human just like everyone else. You can’t expect her to be perfect. And she apologized. So forgive and move on. Everyone needs to stop judging her and all of the other teenage stars because no one really understands what the pressures are unless they are in the situation of teenage fame in the crazy world of Hollywood. I’m pretty sure that if you guys where to fill her spot you would be in the same position or into something worse. Jenneh, while it may seem to be illeagal, under your belief of it being underaged porography..or child pornography,it is not. I am not stating this to look like some pedophile for i am not, i am staiting this because there is nothing shown in the picture, therefore it is not a pornographic picture as you say. The magazine,Vanity Fair, cannot be sued under any circumstances because it is not pornography. There is a sheet covering her completley so nothing is shown. The fact is that if you call this pornography,with the sheet covering her and all, then a picture of her in a bikini on the cover of PEOPLE magazine, or any such magazine, must be pornographic. The company cannot be sued for this because they have nothing wrong according to the United States law, and if they had they would have had a legal representitive that would have informed them of the illegality of the situation.
And a note to RR, pedophillia is defined as the sexual intrest in underaged persons who have not yet hit puberty. Seeing as how she is fifteen i am going to say with much confidence that she has hit puberty.

Actually, technically it is not pedophilia, but ephebophilia, or something to that effect. In addition, the actual photo is not pedo/ephebophilia, as that is a mental disorder, but it could definitely be considered illegal pornography. Not sure where Federal law sits regarding something like this, as she isn’t actually nude. In fact, it doesn’t take much to find more scantily clad child actors in bathing suits… this site has (or at least had) quite a few of them. (Hayden Pannetiere, any one?)

Technically it’s not porn and not illegal at all. Nothing is “showing”, and there’s no “action” taking place.

For what it’s worth, the photos weren’t taken in a studio. They were taken outdoors.
Nobody gets sued for pornography. They get arrested. There’s a difference. Underage porn is a crime, and perps are thrown in jail when found guilty.
These photos would be classified as “implied nudity”, which is NOT the same thing as photographing someone in a bikini or even lingerie.
