It’s never too early to attend your first music festival, right?� At least that’s daddy Joel Madden‘s philosophy.� He took three and a half month old Harlow and mom Nicole Richie to the Southern California desert to hang out at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this weekend!

“[Nicole] hasn’t been able to do a whole lot over the year, so we’re having a little family trip,” Madden told PEOPLE at the BPM Hpnotiq Smurf House, where he DJ’d a festival pre-party Saturday afternoon.

I’m sure this is only the first of many cool experiences in the life of little Harlow.� Ah, to be a celebrity baby!
