It has been confirmed that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are in fact married…by a family member.

Family member, Linda Cannon, has confirmed to E! that they are in fact married.

“Yes, we know,” she says. “He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.”

Linda wouldn’t confirm any details, but she did go on to say:

“I�m not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him.”

Am I the only one that has a hard time believing this? It all seems really sudden and Pop Fictionish…
