Dina Lohan IS Mother Of The Year!
Stop retching - it’s true. Mingling Moms has named Dina Lohan one of Long Island’s Top 20 Moms.
The mainly-social group for pregnant women and moms of infants in Long Island, NY, is “pay[ing] tribute to the women who diapered [the] stars” with roots in Long Island.
The list honors mothers of public figures in movies, politics, fashion and sports. It includes the moms of Natalie Portman, Alec Baldwin, Billy Joel, Howard Stern, Jerry Seinfeld and Christie Brinkley. Jennifer Lopez evidently made the list on her own, although one could argue that Max and Emme are practically already celebrities in their own right.
Mingling Moms is really very kind to set the bar so low. All you have to do to be honored by them is give birth to someone who eventually becomes famous. You don’t even have to do a GOOD job, in fact, maybe the worse you are, the better! Stage mom from the 7th circle of hell? No problem! Drunker than your three-time rehab patient daughter? Excellent! Pimp your 14 year old kid on reality TV? You go, girl!
I’m sure the only reason Lynne Spears was excluded from that list is that if she ever set foot anywhere near L.I., she’d probably be voted off the island faster than you can say “Lawn Guyland.”
