The release of the highly anticipated movie The Dark Knight is just two months away, which means it’s promotions time!  Action figures from the film are already on sale, including this one of Heath Ledger as The Joker.

The toys are so popular that toy stores all over New York are already running out.

Toy stores all over New York have line-ups, people waiting to pick up their very own plastic action figure of Heath Ledger as The Joker…An employee for Toys ‘R’ Us said, “There are none left in the warehouse, either.  You will be waiting a while if you want one.”

Now you know people are not buying these for their kids… it’s probably all fanboys and collectors buying them to keep on a shelf!   Anyway, kids young enough to play with these toys probably shouldn’t be going to see The Dark Knight in the first place!
