Madonna Explains Britney Spears Meltdown

Madonna should understand Britney Spears better than anyone since she has been in the spotlight for so many years and knows how hard the showbiz can be on someone more fragile.

So Madonna explains: “She [Britney] never was allowed to have a childhood… she was a star when she was a child. She didn’t get to grow up and make mistakes privately… she’s been under a microscope since she was a teenager, which I think is really tough; it’s hard to evolve that way.

We heard that same excuse many times before and it fits. That should make parents more aware of what’s happening with their kids and if they have the space and time to grow up… (Can you HEAR that Billy Ray Cyrus?!?!)

Madonna is right on the mark here. To your comment I would add not only Billy Ray Cyrus, but all the hordes of stage parents who want to turn a cute kid into a cash cow.
