David vs. David: AI Finals Start Tonight!
American Idol Season 7 has come down to the Battle of the Davids: David Archuleta vs. David Cook. The drama begins tonight with the first of a two-part finals show. You can catch it tonight and tomorrow night on Fox at 8/7C.
The Davids will sing three songs each: one selected by Clive Davis, one selected by AI viewers through an online poll, and one they select themselves.
As if the excitement isn’t huge enough already, Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers are also expected to perform during the finale.
17 year old Archuleta has long been a favorite among viewers for his ability to belt out the ballads. And he’s just so cuuute with that wittle baby face! Cook, a more seasoned (and scruffy) 25, was called the “real rocker of the boys” by Randy Jackson. Personally, I think he takes himself too seriously, but folks must love him if he’s gotten this far.
