Carrie Underwood Covers Cosmo

Carrie Underwood is the July 2008 cover girl of Cosmopolitan magazine. In the interview with Carrie that Cosmo did they covered dating, weight issues and her rise to fame. Here are some highlights:

On her fame: “It all seems like a crazy dream.”

On trying to live normal: “I’ll go to a club here in Nashville, but I also like to sit at home with my dog and do normal people things. I love doing laundry. I love buying groceries.”

On her weight: “I gained weight on the show, but I didn’t starve myself afterward,” she says. “I may think about it a little too much. I might feel guilty if I eat a pizza. But I’ve tried to be healthy and exercise as much as I can. If that’s made me lose weight, I guess I needed to.”

On guys wanting to date her: “Guys who would never look at me twice before might ask me out now, so I guess I have better opportunities,” she says. “But when I do meet a guy, there’s this ‘Does he just want his picture in a magazine?’ factor.”
