Ashley Tisdale Denies Stupid HIV Rumors
According to the rumors, Ashley Tisdale would have contracted HIV from a rhinoplasty procedure (famously knows as nose job) she did late last year. The pseudo-sources claimed there was a statement from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center about this matter.
Things got so out of proportion that panic was installed between some fans of the ‘High School Musical’ star, who posted videos of support ‘pray for Ashley’ on YouTube.
Cedars-Sinai spokesperson says “We absolutely did not issue a release;” while Ashley’s rep told People “rumors are completely untrue.”
I don’t know what possessed someone to make up a story like this. First it’s irresponsible and second it’s just plain stupid. These medical centers have strict policies and there’s a close to zero probability of these kind things to happen. It turns out to be even more improbable when they are dealing with celebrities.
